so one of my friends who i’ve just recently met is 31…yes, 31, wants to take me out to dinner and to show me his favorite place in the city.  should i be frightened or hesitant at all?  he said “just as friends” but i’m a little skeptical because i’ve been getting vibes.    note, i’m only 18.  maybe i’m just paranoid?

  1. sserotoninn said: men mature more slowly than women but 31 is a bit over the top. i realize that people with common interests can bridge age gaps and even generation gaps, but sometimes keeping it distant and strictly platonic can prevent uncomfortable situations.
